Legacy Buying Group’s six founding members provide promotional products and services at competitive prices, it says.
In 2000, St. Louis-based Legacy Buying Group was founded by promotional marketing product heavy hitters CSE, Chamberlain Marketing Group, GatewayCDI, John Michael Associates and Target Marketing. Seven years later, PromoShop Inc. joined the team, and the group set out to increase its buying power while providing high-quality products.
Legacy Buying Group members produce promotional products and apparel, including jackets, athletic bags, polo shirts and caps. Through its Highland Bay label, the company offers high-quality promotional apparel at low prices, it says. “We design each Highland Bay product here in the United States to ensure exceptional quality and style,” the company explains. “Each item is then manufactured overseas to guarantee [customers] receive the lowest price possible. This process allows us to pass the savings directly on to our valued customers.”
The company stocks all promotional items in its warehouse and, when an order is placed, corporate logos can be quickly embroidered and shipped directly to the client. “Each of our products has been specifically designed to accommodate corporate logo decoration requirements,” the firm notes.
One of Legacy Buying Group’s original founders, New Berlin, Wis.-based CSE, operates 90,000 square feet of office, fulfillment, embroidery and showroom space, it says. “We ship more than 1,400 packages per day and maintain over 4 million stock-keeping units in our immaculate warehouse,” the company explains.
CSE’s newest product line, The Signature Collection, comprises “top-quality promotional items that meet our strict criteria for outstanding quality and value from both a price and marketing perspective,” the company states. “This collection is worthy of the most important signature – [our clients’]. We’ve selected only the best items from our best suppliers and we’ve negotiated bulk purchasing pricing. We have personally scrutinized each item in this collection and, for this reason, we are able to offer [our customers] a complete satisfaction guarantee.”
Another valued member of Legacy Buying Group is Taylor, Mich.-based Chamberlain Marketing Group, a full-service supplier focusing on the development and execution of marketing programs, the company states. “We have become an industry leader by providing our customers with superior service, premium products and continuous innovation, resulting in unique brand solutions,” Chamberlain says.
The firm has the capability to provide turnkey service from concept development to fulfillment, allowing it to respond to clients’ needs faster and more efficiently. “We pride ourselves on providing the highest-quality merchandise and customer service,” the company explains.
Founded in 1984, the company operates distribution centers in Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Baltimore and St. Louis. “Chamberlain Marketing has invested significantly in developing in-house technology solutions to best address the needs of the marketplace,” the company notes. “Our e-commerce solutions are custom-developed by the staff to best meet the individual client’s needs. CMG’s dedicated staff programmers, technicians and designers provide leading-edge business applications online.”
Newington, Conn.-based John Michael Associates Inc., founded in 1980, says its membership in Legacy Buying Group has given it preferred pricing and service from many manufacturers industrywide. “John Michael Associates in turn passes this excellent pricing and service on to our customers,” the company explains.
The company stocks Highland Bay bags and apparel, it says. “By receiving these products directly without any middlemen, JMA is able to give [customers] exceptional quality merchandise at promotional prices,” the company explains. “John Michael Associates rises above our competition through our dedication to customer satisfaction, more than 25 years of knowledge in the industry, high quality of products and our state-of-the-art technology.”
Member company Custom Designed Images was founded in 1984 to supply apparel and embroidery services to corporate customers. The company then merged with Gateway Promotions in 1996, to form GatewayCDI, the company says.
The organization specializes in promotional products for trade shows, conventions and other corporate events. “We have access to over 100,000 items,” GatewayCDI explains. “We can assemble a unique product mix that includes retail brand names, promotional product brands and created-from-scratch custom products.”
Los Angeles-based PromoShop delivers promotional merchandising and marketing services to a variety of clients. “We understand our clients’ marketing strategy, objectives and target audience, turning the impossible into a unique reality,” the firm explains.
In addition, Target Marketing has found success providing products and services such as print-management programs, incentive programs, sales promotions and catalog programs.
