VSR Logistics, based in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., says it combines an asset base that includes a fleet of rolling stock and multiple warehouse locations with the ability to manage transcontinental and Hawaiian shipments through one point of contact.

Tracking Program
VSR Logistics says its shipment-tracking program allows clients to track their shipments through the Internet, electronic data interchange (EDI) or customer service representatives. On the VSR Web site, clients can input the freight bill number to receive data on its shipment, including origin, pickup date and time, destination, pieces, delivery appointment and time, shipper’s number, weight, delivered date and time, check number and date, and who signed for it.

“VSR Logistics has the ability to provide standard EDI transactions sets for those customers who desire to exchange information via EDI,” it adds.
